About

I’m a sexagenarian working for the last quarter century in IT as a software developer, a gun-for-hire with Fortune 1000 companies where I made a decent living going from contract to contract and staying in constant demand until the “Fall of  2008” (pun intended), when the banksters received a blanket get-out-of-jail free card for crashing the economy, after which I went permanent with a Southeastern-based company with a worldwide footprint and excellent retention policy (to judge from the longevity of many of my co-workers) where I hope to hang my hat until I retire after which I would like to devote myself to travel, writing, building websites and geeking out on new freeware (of which there is an infinite and inexhaustible variety).
